National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration process for Common University Entrance Test, Undergraduate. Students can register for CUET 2023 till March 12. They will also get the correction window open for four days from March 15 to 18. NTA has also made many changes in CUET UG 2023 this year.
In this regard, UGC Chief Jagdish Kumar has told that the application fee, the number of subject choices, and slot numbers have increased. In such a situation, students have to take care of these things during the exam this year. Through CUET, admission will be given in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in 44 Central Universities and Participating Universities of the country. CUET UG 2023 will be conducted from May 21 to 31.
Know the changes that will happen in CUET Exam 2023 this year:
CUET 2023 exam will be conducted in three phases in a day.
Students appearing in CUET-UG will have the option to choose a maximum of 10 subjects in three sections.
There will be three sections in the CUET exam, which include language, domain, and general tests. This year the number of questions to be attempted in Sections 2 and 3 has been reduced. In section 2 candidates will have to attempt 35 out of 40 questions. Similarly, 50 questions will have to be asked in section three.
CUET exam fees will be charged on the basis of the number of subjects selected by the candidate. General category candidates appearing in three subjects will have to pay Rs 750. The fee for seven subjects is Rs 1500, while for 10 subjects it has been fixed at Rs 1750.
The number of centers set up abroad has also increased. Now CUET exam will be conducted at 24 centers abroad. Overseas Centers Nepal, Thailand, Brazil, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Qatar, UAE (Dubai), Vietnam, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Kuwait, Nigeria, Bahrain, Russia, Muscat, Canada, Mauritius, Riyadh, UAE ( Sharjah), Singapore, Australia, Austria, and the US.
