Good news has come for the young men and women who dream of joining the army. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for NDA & NA and CDS exam. The online process has started for these exams which are conducted twice a year. Talking about the vacancy, there are a total of 400 posts under NDA and 339 posts are to be filled in CDS.
Candidates can check the notification by visiting the official website of UPSC, upsc.gov.in.
Let us inform that the process of application for both these examinations has started on the Commission’s application portal upsconline.nic.in.
The last date to apply is different
The last date to apply for National Defense Academy Examination-Naval Academy (NDA & NA) Examination 2022 has been fixed as June 14. At the same time, the last date to apply online for the Combined Defense Services Examination (CDS) 2022 is June 7. As far as the conduct of these examinations is concerned, they will be conducted in September this year.
eligibility requirements
For Army Wing to appear in NDA exam candidate must have passed 12th examination in any stream from a recognized board. However, for Air Force and Naval Wing, it is necessary to have Physics and Mathematics in class 12th.
For Army Wing in CDS Exam, the candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university or any other higher education institution. For Naval Wing Candidate Must Have Graduation in Engineering. Whereas, for Air Force Wing, the candidate should have completed 12th with Physics and Maths subjects or graduation in Engineering.
For the first time in NDA, girls will train in June
For the first time in NDA, girls are going to train. This training is going to start in June of this year. During this 19 girl cadets will be part of NDA. Of these, 10 will take training for the Army, 6 for the Air Force and 3 for the Navy. Explain that in NDA training of three years, each term is of six months. In each term, about the same number of girls will be trained again. At present there are 18 squadrons of cadets in NDA and each squadron consists of around 110 to 120 cadets.
