The registration process for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted for recruitment to the posts of teachers in government and private schools is starting from today, October 31. The last date to apply for CTET 2022 is 24 November 2022. CBSE had released the CTET 2022 notification on October 20.

The allotment of exam city to the candidates will be done on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. This means that if the candidates want the exam city of their choice then they should apply as soon as possible without waiting for the last date. Application fee

During the application, candidates will have to pay the examination fee of Rs 1000 for one paper and Rs 1200 for both the papers through online medium. Whereas, the application fee for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates is Rs 500 for one paper and Rs 600 for both the papers.

For teaching in classes I to V, candidates will have to appear in Paper 1 and for classes VI to VIII, Paper 2. However, candidates can appear for both the papers and obtain the eligibility certificate for classes I to VIII.
