Indian Navy has given a golden opportunity to the 12th pass candidates. The Navy has issued the notification on March 20. In this, 2500 posts of Artificer Apprentice (AA) and Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) i.e. Sailor of the Navy are to be filled.
Form Filling Date: The process of online application for these posts will start from March 29. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website of Navy www.joinindiannavy.gov.in to know more about this vacancy. The last date to apply is 05 April. Offline applications are not accepted in this recruitment.
Apart from this, students appearing for the 12th board examination this year can also apply in the Navy. For these, the Navy will take out recruitment from August to November.
Salary Range: 21,700 to 69,100 rupees monthly.
- According to the notification issued by the Navy, after the selection, the cadets will be given initial training. During this, he will get a stipend of Rs 14,600 every month.
- After the completion of the training period, the cadets will be promoted to the Defense Pay Matrix Level-3 of the Navy. Now his monthly salary will be increased from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100.
- Apart from this, those selected on the Artificer Apprentice post will get DA of Rs 5200 per month.
After joining this job you can go up to the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer in Navy after promotion.
Pay special attention to age limit and qualification while filling the form
To join this recruitment, your date of birth must be between 01 October 2002 to 31 July 2005. The minimum qualification to join this recruitment is 12th pass with maths and physics. However, for Artificer Apprentice post, it is necessary to score 60% marks in 12th.
Mode of Selection
The selection process for Artificer Apprentice (AA) and Senior Secondary Recruit Posts in Navy is done in 3 stages.
First Stage: There is a common written test for both the posts. Papers come in both Hindi and English languages. Objective type questions are asked in this.
In this one hour long exam, all questions are asked from English, Science, Maths and General Awareness. All questions are of 12th level.
Second Stage: In the second stage of selection, physical test has to be given. In this, these things of the cadets are taken care of.
Height should be 157 cms
1.6 km run to be completed in 7 minutes
10 pushups have to be done with 20 sit ups in one minute
Third Stage: Candidates who pass both the stages are sent for medical test. The selection is done on the basis of merit list of those who pass in it.
